Gov. Arthur Yap has fulfilled his administration’s promise to provide the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) a brand new ambulance unit for the Bohol Panglao International Airport.

The province acquired the unit through Chinese donation.

On Yap’s behalf, Acting Gov. Rene Relampagos turned over the essential emergency facility right when the airport marked its first year anniversary today.

The airport has been operated and managed by the CAAP since its inauguration on November 27 last year.

Private investor Aboitiz has been reported to take over its operation and maintenance.

The investor is calling a press conference on it in Cebu City on Friday, the report said. (Ven rebo Arigo)
