Preparing the Philippines Presentation for the World Bank Creative Cities and Industries Project. Governor Art Yap, DOT Usec Edwin Enrile, Worldbank Philippines Task Team Leader Lesley Cordero finalize the Philippines presentation for creating and supporting Creative Industries in Cities, Municipalities and Provinces in key critical localities in the Philippines. Supporting Creative Talents in culture, literature, dance, music, performances, filmmaking, gastronomy, will work to sustain, expand and keep tourism resilient and inclusive in the Philippines in the coming days. The specific Programs that will be finalized in this one week “Technical Deep Dive” will go into the WB work program that was announced for Bohol, Siquijor, Siargao, Davao City and SAMAL Island last October 2019. Bohol is vying to be declared a UNESCO Creative Center for Music apart from being a World Geological Park.
