Gov. Arthur Yap led the turnover of 3.8 kilometers of concrete barangay access road from Kagawasan to Caluasan in San Miguel town this morning.

Prominent in attendance with the governor were Rep. Aris Aumentado, Board Member Frans Garcia and Mayor Virgilio Mendez, Jr.

They also witnessed Yap distributing bags of premium rice to the families in the said Second District town under the provincial government’s Rice Subsidy Program in the wake of the pandemic.

Costing P23 million, the road project was aided by the Asian Development Bank, jointly implemented by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, LGU of San Miguel and Provincial Government of Bohol.

It is a part of the rural infrastructure component of the national Integrated Natural Resources and Environment Management Program.

Further, the governor turned over P1 million to the LGU to assist its water project. (Ven rebo Arigo)
